THE PROPERTY
Pihama Lavender is situated in the grounds of Pihama Dairy Factory which has history here dating to 1897. It is a wonderful backdrop for the lavender and the creative side to the establishment.

I have spent many years travelling the world. Nothing compares with the simple majesty of the Taranaki lifestyle. The clarity of the air, the purity of the light and the friendliness of the people make for a perfect lifestyle.
EVENTS
The growing number of artistis exhibiting in the gallery is something to be proud of. Our Growers and Makers Markets are becoming very popular. Our Growers and Makers Markets are the third Sunday of each month. The focus is on home made and home grown products and produce. Most stalls are undercover so this market goes ahead rain or shine.

Lavender Farm
OPEN DAYS
While some open days will be specifically advertised the fact that the farm shop and gallery are open every Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm both Summer and Winter means that people should feel free to drop in and explore what is on offer here. Watch out for the sign out on the road.
LAVENDER HARVESTING
Lavender is harvested between late December and mid March. It is a busy time of year here but affords an explosion of smells and sights. Come and visit us then.
